At 18 I had one aim…to become a 16mm documentary cinematographer inspired by working on film at Art College.
I joined the industry working for an independent London film company travelling the world for 5 years freelancing as an assistant and shooting second camera on documentaries, I listened and learnt from the best in the industry. Armed with knowledge and experience I’d gained I began shooting Social Documentaries and Drama for BBC and ITV.
I’ve always been fascinated by what makes people tick, the individual attributes of people whether fictional or factual by listening and visualising compelling, authentic stories and lives.
Moving to merge documentaries and Drama with directors
Penny Woolcock, Phillipa Lowthorpe and Dominic Savage.
I happily work in both.
